After 7 long and torturous years, the evil, majestic, and malevolent Virulent Invocation are finally hitting the stage for their live debut, Friday August 1st upstairs at the venerable institution that is The Bendigo Hotel. With sinister riffs and punishing grooves combining Aussie Death and Black metal with Bolivian Death and Thrash, Virulent Invocation contain former members of Hadal Maw, Headless, Monoliyth, Anient and Mar Mortuum, to name but a few. With another member having been pursued by Current Affair for dungeon related Aussie soap opera abuse and the rotating drum stool being occupied by veritable drumming beast and the pulse behind both Hadal Maw and Freedom of Fear, Liam Weedall, this band is going to have an impact on your mind, body, soul and sanity one way or the other.

Providing the class and muscle on the night are fellow DangerTone Studios alumni and fast rising purveyors of melodic, soaring and downright filthy grooves, the awesome Kniver, and the established superstars of their own heady mix of grooves, rock, punk, metal and debauched humour: The singular musical force that is Nephalem!
